Cute and the page topics will be fun to do with grandparents. These books are smaller than I expected, I thought they would be 8x8 or even composition book side but they are smaller, 5"x5". I'm sure that is listed somewhere in the description, just didn't occur to me to check.

This product is beautiful- looks really high quality. What I didn’t realize (because I didn’t read the specs) is that it is a tiny book- which worked perfectly for me as a stocking stuffer style gift, but just make sure the small size works for you! :)

This was bought as a gift for my fiancé’s grandmother. While she hasn’t used it much yet, flipping through the journal before giving it to her, it will be quite interesting to see it when she’s done. I wish something like this had been available before my grandparents had passed away.

This is such a great little memory book. Have loved going through this with my grandma. Highly recommend. Also bought the grandfather version also.

For some odd reason, amazon linked the review sections of books 1,4, 5, 7 and 8 together. I tried support but there won't be a change so I will add both to this:Book 1:Like any fan of attack on titan; I wanted more while I wait for the next installments.This is supposed to be some kind of prequel to the main story. As typical of the Survey Corps, there are casualties. A wife joins a cult (probably the early stages of the wallests) and they demand to leave. A titan attacks and a baby is later found in titan puke. It quickly becomes the child of the titans. A curiosity but is he really a titan?Time goes by and Kuklo is acquired from a cage only to be locked in a dungeon cell. An item of abuse, someone takes pity on him (hmm Frankenstein's monster?).He starts planning to escape.This is supposed to be a prequel. I am not sure I like it but I am still interested....Book 4:Sharle continues her discussion with Carlo and they learn a few things about each other. Kuklo ponders his fate in prison and meets a prison buddy.Kuklo is sentenced and tossed on a wagon to meet his fate. An unknown person slips him a knife. Is his supposed to escape?Punishment is banishment and once outside the wall they escape. Kuklo's ability to sense titans kicks in and they run for it. The titans give chase and Kuklo has to be the hero again.Things don't go well and they find themselves surrounded. A strange rope becomes their rescue and they meet their helper from the wagon who in turn takes them a way in a wagon.Kuklo learns his new friend is a soldier and their rescuer is a legend.They also learn of a device.I can say now I am taking a liking to this story line. The characters are getting interesting and the titans have a different look to them which avoids the same look of Attack on Titan.Book 7:Xavi deals with the Titan Worshipers and we get to see the "character" of the MP Captain Bernhart. She requests something of him and it appears to involved the industrial city.Jorge is back and it's decided to field test the device with Titans. The problem? How to get him outside.The plans work without a hitch and we get to meet a new person who might be reason Wall Maria has it's name.As field tests are prone to have problems; such is the case. Kuklo and Cardina must deal with several titans. What is interesting is we get to see why the gear is the way it is in AoT. We even get to see the fledgling tactics of maneuvering.Kuklo learns the identity of one of the titans and he confesses what drives him which can be seen as some of the driving values of the Survey Corps in the future.There is an extra story which explains the relationship of Maria, Angel and Sorum.On to the next one.Book 8.Sharle is worried about Kuklo. Enough to get the attention of master Xenophon who quickly distracts her.We get into the intrigue as we see Captain Bernhard and Xavi plan and the real question? Does Xavi have his own plans?There is an attack on the industrial city. Xavi springs his plan and runs into a challenger. The attackers move onto Xenophons factory. Prisoners are taken and then the counter attack begins. Kuklo really begins to show his talent.All in all a nice addition and am looking forward to the next edition.

Jorge takes Kuklo and Cardina into the industrial city inorder to hide them.Sharle appears and is happy to see Kuklo and freaks out about Cardina.We get to meet a cool character named Xenophon. A good mix of crazy and brilliant. The device is explained more and Kuklo makes a grand decision. What follows is more insight into Kuklo and more backstory around the time he was born.I always like a crazy brilliant guy who likes to drink. Xenophon is somebody I hope to see more in future issues. I also liked the insight into Kuklos world view.On to the next one.

I enjoyed this story. After keeping up with the original story of Attack on Titan, I found that this story was really interesting. I'm excited to see where it goes from here after meeting the characters Kuklo, the Titan's Son, and Sharle. I am excited to see what adventures they embark on as well as learn about the creation of the 3D maneuver gear.Yet, even though I am quite interested in this story, I did not expect it to be a manga. Before the Fall was originally a Light Novel in Japan and this is what I had been hoping to receive (translated into English of course). Sadly, this was not the Light Novel I wanted, but again the story is good. Hopefully, they will get around to translating the Light Novel into English.I can't complain about a good story. It felt a bit rushed at parts though. I'm not quite sure if that was how the story was meant to play out or if there are some details that we are missing that were not able to be captured within the manga. I'm not sure how other's feel about this, but it is my own personal interpretation.I would recommend this manga to others.

Sharle is doing well and is given an opportunity. Insurgents plan and attack the industrial city. Sharle and Xenophon are captured and the Military Police move on the city to reclaim it.I don't like Xavi and lets leave it at that.Kuklo, Cardina, and Jorge learn what has happened and decide a rescue mission and the device will be part of it.

Eh, it just didn't grab me like the originals do. I LOVE AoT, I really do, but this just isn't up to par. It makes the people seem even more ignorant and fearful (and therefore stupid), and the protagonist doesn't seem to make up for that. I just don't care what happens to the characters enough to keep reading past book 1.

Another good volume of Before the Fall, getting ready to enter the cool parts of the story. My one gripe is the weird devotion is has to the flashback near the end. Anyone who read the BtF novel (which people should, since it's a prequel to this series!) will know everything the flashback reveals, so it should be unnecessary. Four stars because it's Before the Fall. Not five because flashback was too long.

So far this is my favorite volume of AOT: Before the fall! This was a more laid-back volume, where we get lots of information and can smile together with our main characters at least :) Yet it still makes you excited for the following events, and I personally can't wait to get my hands on volume 6.Great artwork and amazing story!

This story kind of starts out slow but the art is well drawn, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. It takes place 70 years before Attack on Titan and in this time the Maneuvering Gear hasn't been invented.The main character is kind of plain but I'm hoping this changes as later volumes turn up the pace on the story. A good read and I recommend it to all AoT fans.

Sitting on his logic expertise, Russell tries to educate us on fundamental concepts of mathematics. The whole thing sounds like a talk trying to reach layperson using several analogies (he insults philosophers making logical mistakes as well) or to motivate young students. The highest point is a construction stating that is nonsense discuss the existence of god. Warning: You may fall in love with Mathematics!

It was good. I liked it. I would recommend to myself and anybody who would also like it.

It could be a better quality product. But, it is O.K. as it is.

This is a great book; Bertrand Russell is a master of the English language and is able to express difficult and technical concepts in a way that is easily accessible to everyday reader. HOWEVER, the physical book itself and the publisher made it difficult to read. It seems to have been printed really cheaply, the words are too small, and overall, it's pretty much unreadable. So, I would look for the book printed by a different publisher...

This book takes you back one or two steps in the understanding of math when definitions in the modern age just doesn't seem to define with clarity most concepts of math. This book takes you to a world of propositional logic that is of utter importance to grow as a mathematician. Bertrand Russell is one of a kind, you can easily see why he got a Nobel Prize in Literature. This book must be read slowly as to digest the concepts so that you can internalize them and put them to use in proofs in the modern way. Enjoy!!

Please let me know if this review is helpful or not. ThanksssLet's get straight to the point. I've taken a course and almost a certified microblading artist, I have to complete 10 exams that is hard and time-consuming which is awesome because I don't believe in botching up anyone's faces. The majority of the information and images in this book are all derived from blogs & articles written by other artists. Corrine Asch claims copyright to her mediocre information. Although she does claim that this book is a result of her research, how do you copy write something that's not yours, to begin with? If you want to save money, then do your own research. If you want to save time, then purchase this book. I read this book before my course and it covers everything I learned... same client forms. Maybe my instructor copied and paste the same info and charged an arm and leg for this exclusive info. I do like to refer back to this book from time to time. Or you can google. I don't regret purchasing this book. This does not replace hands on in person training. It's not in depth, its a good start to understanding the very basic concept of microblading. But again every topic in this book can be searched easily.

This book is stolen information off the internet without any actual miroblading pictures of the actual procedure. It is a compiled mess of information that will only leave you with more questions. This was a thrown together, low budget attempt. The pictures are low quality and so is the information. I found multiple grammar mistakes as well. As a microblade instructor and artists I absolutely do not recommend this book.

Great for beginners or people who no nothing about microblading. I recently received my Certification and we went over everything in this book. Great pictures of examples and Products to buy. Very Very easy read The product supply list is missing a few things but the basics are there. You can google or YouTube list of recommended microblading supplies as years go on new and improved supplies come out. Overall a great buy.

As a fifth grade level book I give this only 2 stars. The book is great if you're looking for some basic inventor names, however there is very little information provided for each inventor and there are only seven inventors mentioned. The format of the book is a picture of an inventor with a one to two sentence demographic overview of the inventor, then a textless filler image on the next page that really didn't provide any additional purpose other than expanding the book to have more pages. Not even every inventor received a photograph or illustration of themselves which made the book inconsistent.The inventors listed were basic common knowledge inventors such as Bell, Goodyear, Franklin, Edison and Morse. I thought it was strange to include Naismith who is credited with inventing the game of basket ball, but I suppose it was an invention of some kind, I was just expecting technological inventions to be included only. These names are introduced to most kids at a first or second grade level. The book was written at a preschool level.When talking to fifth graders about inventions, it's a time to spark their interest in a subject of history that might go unnoticed to them. This book provided no spark for kids to go out and make their own inventions, it created no interest because it lacked detail. The book is extremely short and I almost didn't want to finish it because it was so boring. My kids didn't have any interest in the book after the first couple of pages and they love to read and learn about our history.Overall I don't recommend this book to anyone. The majority of the information is common knowledge and this book is absolutely not at a fifth grade level. The information provided is more suitable as a brief introduction to seven inventors in US history, and not one of them was a woman.I received a digital copy of this book free in exchange for an honest review.

A really wonderful book with great examples, very intuitive explanations, and a decent reference. It's not the most detailed book in the world - not exactly a reference - but that's fine because with R you have all the reference materials you need online. This is more like a step by step guide that walks you through the first level of econometrics and shows you how to use R very intuitively. This book is worth its weight in gold.

This book basically saved my butt throughout my masters econometrics courses. My econometrics course was in R and my professor didn’t really provide code on what to do or instructions, this was a great bible to follow until the forecasting area (didn’t have AR, MA, or ARMA) but it did provide perfect examples and code and a nice explanation and examples for different econometrics concepts. I read this along with the woolridge book and as a result stayed ahead of the curve in my masters econometrics course with a respective A and A+. Seriously shoutout to author. Plus guys dude it’s $20, this is worth much more than the $200 textbooks that one barely reads, is 400+ pages and explains things on a high level. Get this book and a pdf of woolridge and you should be pretty solid on the material and being able to do it in R

Very good book, concise, clearly interpreted R programming combines with econometric theory and practices. If you wanted to learn R and Econometrics simultaneously, this is the book for you. however you may need the book wrote by Wooldridge. Florian Heiss did a wonderful job.

Reasonably priced that does what it it is supposed to do. Covers most introductory econometric courses and associated R code. If you just want an econometrics text there are better ones, albethey pricier ones. Value added is price and R coverage.

I've been working my way through the book and am happy with my purchase. It is available online but I like having a printed, bound copy.

Finding a book for first-time dads that isn't a bro'd-out, lame joke-book with gags about staring at your partners breasts was staggeringly harder to find than I'd expected. I've read two of Brott's books—this one and it's series predecessor The Expectant Father—and both are superb, down-to-earth, informed guides to give you calm peace of mind when the newborn arrives. If you actually want to learn and be spoken to like an adult rather than an overgrown child, this is the book (and series) for you.

The book is broken up into sections (chapters, I suppose) like 1 Week and 1 Month, and I have been reading the book in accordance with these milestones as my daughter reaches them and so far this book is spot on. There is a wealth of information here for questions you may have about anything from leading up to delivery to a year down the road. I was able to ask intelligent questions the day my daughter was born about things like APGAR scores, etc. that they never would have bothered telling me had I never known to ask. I have been thoroughly impressed, and downright comforted at times by the information in this text and highly recommend it to any first time dads.

Got this book for my husband after he read the author’s pregnancy book & loved it. He is not a reader at all- we’ve been together over 10 years & I can count on one hand all the books he’s read in that time! He loves how the chapters are broken up by month, he usually reads one month ahead of whatever stage baby is at. We both really like the authors humor throughout the book, but he also has some really great and informative info in there too! Some of it doesn’t apply to everyone & is a little outdated- assuming dad will go back to work & mom will care for baby... But we just laugh at that stuff & move on...

I purchased The New Father after reading the Expectant Father while my wife was pregnant. I like the layout of the chapters by month and also the format of the information provided including understanding what the baby is up to, what mom is up to, and what I may be feeling. Some parts of the book are a little woo woo and new age for me. On the whole, though the book has a lot of practical pieces of advice and also has given me a ton of confidence with my little one. In particular, the step by step on how to change a diaper made it super easy for me to change my first one and after that, I started to feel like I could do this. I think it also helped me gain the trust of my wife who appreciated that I was interested (and probably also that I was dealing with the diaper in the first place) and looked like I wasn't completely lost. I did also purchase the audible book and recommend that in addition to the hardcopy. I listened to chapters a couple of times on the way to work and even while running which allowed some concepts that were more complex to sink in more thoroughly.

I like this book, but the guy I had in mind to purchase this for is a hands-on, doesn't stop to read much type. He has a receptive disorder too, but I was looking for something to give valuable insight because he and his gf are expecting. This book is really insightful, straight forward and educational, it covers all the stuff, BUT, there were only a few comic strip style pictures, and the information was long and detailed (which is great for the detailed and avid reader)! But for the guy I had in mind, I don't think he's going to get through very much before it gets set down and forgotten about. I was looking for a book that was shorter, more simple in style, with pictures, yet still serious and informative. This wasn't it. But it was still an excellent book and if the dad-to-be is a good reader and enjoys reading, he would surely benefit from this one!

Super book for my husband a FTD. We loved the pregnancy book in this series and plan to buy the following books as our little one grows up. These books have a great sense of humor and cover important topics that some other books may gloss over due to being too yucky, serious, or being a feminine issue. We just wish there was more of a week by week feature (instead of month) as it's fun to read the chapters as your child grows, but we understand why the book was divided up this way.

I really like the book. It's written good and easy to understand. The author talks about his own experience.I purchased the book when my wife was 4 months pregnant so I would have enough time to read it. I'm not a big reader :-).I should've done more research because the author wrote more than one book. The first one is called the expecting father, so this book is the second one of the series and obviously, the first book contains some information that would've been nice to know.Overall, I give it 4 Stars.

Do you have an outspoken, know-it-all uncle who'd spout off advice at the Thanksgiving table without any reasonable backup to his claims? Prepare to enjoy it in written form.I think Armin's heart is in the right place; he wants fathers to be more confident in how they can nurture help their new children. But his (seldom) oddball approach has only reinforce one key lesson in fatherhood: you need to find your own way for your one-of-a-kind child.If that was the real lesson, then thank you.
